Interactive Features for the Personal Site2026-03-29

The site is mostly one-way today: projects, ideas, and photography. Next I want to add comments or a lightweight guestbook so visitors can leave thoughts, questions, or references—small conversations instead of a broadcast.

For v1 I’ll favor approaches that are cheap to ship and maintain: a third-party comment embed, or a simple message form with light moderation. The goal is to unblock "people can talk back" first, then iterate on UX and safety.

I’m not aiming for a full community; I want a convenient place for like-minded people to connect, similar to classic blog comments.

Update 01: Comments are live now, but I still want more emotional payoff—likes, for example. Next I’ll add likes; once there’s more work on the site, I’ll add a “want it” signal too.
